Ya Libnan - Eclipse gazing in Lebanon

Lebanese people, along with millions of people around the world, witnessed a full or partial eclipse. Quoted from "Ya Libnan", "Many Lebanese, young and old, were outdoors and gazing up at the sky... with proper eye protection of course."

Other countries who witnessed the event included Brazil, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Libya, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

Aljazeera.Net - Qatar economic forum eyes billions

Qatar, the tiny emirate rich in natural gas, has announced plans for a forum next month to raise foreign capital for a $130 billion five-year investment project. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmad al-Thani, the Qatari finance and trade minister, said the conference, which aims to attract investment for Doha's energy and tourism sectors, will be held from 17 - 18 April.
