Haifa Wehbe, BBC's ambassador

Arab Productivity Growth declines 0.7 per year

US Department of Treasury published some remarks noting that for the past twenty years, the productivity growth of arabic countries declined 0.7 each year, contrary to the positive productivity increase in United States, Europe and East Asia. It also states that unemployment in the region is 15 percent and 30 percent among younger generations.

For those who haven't read "Arabian Nights" and "The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam", I suggest you do so on this site. The site includes stories of "Aladdin The Wonderful Lamp", "Sindbad The Seaman", and many more.



Additional details on "The Arabian Nights: The Thousands Nights and One Night" is published at wikipedia. Contrary to popular beliefs that this is a children book, this article says it is not.
